The most recent design in the tattoo world is biomechanical tattoo. Invented by a H.R. Giger in the year 1979, these robotic designs were basically designed for the movie Alien. Thereafter it was made popular by prominent tattoo artists who were inspired by the creation. These tattoos look like ripped robotic parts on the body.

 

What Is A Biomechanical Tattoo?
Bio means anything to do with living things and life, and mechanical means machines and machine parts. Thus biomechanical tattoos bring together the features of living and machine to give an effect that is surreal.
Biomechanical tattoos are larger in size due to the details in their design and structure. It is a high level of tattoo art that needs the artist to be very good at drawing human figures. Women like to sport the softer ones with cartoons displaying mechanical elements. Women generally prefer showing a feminine science fiction character on their bodies rather than give a ripped-open-robot feel.
